The final lineup for this year's SXSW Film Conference and Festival has been set. Headlining this year's festival is Joss Weldon and Drew Goddard's The Cabin in the Woods, starring Chris Hemsworth (Thor). The screening will be the World Premiere for the film, followed by press events the weekend following and a "Conversation with Joss Whedon" roundtable event open to badge holders of SXSW. SXSW Film runs from Friday March 9 to Saturday March 17, and consists of over 120 sessions, screenings of 138 short films, and 132 feature films. Of the feature films, 74 will be having their World Premiere at the festival as well as 17 North American premieres and 11 U.S. Premieres.
Some of the other highlights of the Conference and Festival include an acting workshop by Jeffrey Tambor (Arrested Development), a Conversation with Seth MacFarlane (who will also be screening his directorial debut film, Ted, a combination live-action/CGI film starring Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg), Restoring History: 100 Years of Universal Films where they discuss the restoration of Universal's film library, and Funny or Die: Future of Comedy & Everything Else - a look into the hit website.

- 21 Jump Street, starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum
- Iron Sky: A film about Nazis going to the Moon and returning in the future. This film is the most expensive film ever made in Finland and was crowd-funded.
- Safety Not Guaranteed: A film about three people answering a job ad by someone claiming to be a time traveler.
